Carol Linda (Person) Taylor

       On Thursday, July 13, 2017, our Lord in his divine wisdom called our beloved, Carol Linda Taylor, home to eternal rest. She was born on August 31, 1950 in Capron, Virginia, to the late Joe Sam Person and Inell Malone Person. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her son; Clayton McCoy Person and husband, Zebedee Taylor, Sr. 
       At an early age, Carol accepted Jesus Christ and united in Christian Fellowship with   Rising Star Baptist Church. She lived her entire life in Southampton County and worked at Narricot Industries. She was a caring person and often gave of herself to help her family and others, until her health began declining.
       Carol leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Zebedee Ray Taylor Jr.; three grandchildren, Tony Ford, Tiffany Brown (Tyrone) and Jashaun Pope; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Frances E. Turner (Larry) and Maggie L. Person both of  Drewryville, Virginia; five sisters-in-law, Virginia L. Stephenson (Hubert)  and  Ella Mae Gatling both of Pendleton, North Carolina, Annie Johnson (William) of Richmond, Virginia, Mable Chappell (Harvey) of Branchville, Virginia and Roxanne Person of Emporia, Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
