Don Michael Peebles, son of Esther Lee Mitchell Peebles Battle and the late Willie Miles, Sr., began his journey through life on Wednesday, June 13, 1956,  in Jackson, (Northampton County) North Carolina.
Don was educated in the Northampton County School System, graduating from Northampton County High School - East, Class of 1974.  Some years ago, he was employed with the Naval Ship Yard, Newport News, Virginia.
Throughout his life, Don remained in good spirits.  He was a "Happy-Go-Lucky" person, who possessed strength and tenacity.  He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends, and found great joy in watching television. He loved his family and absolutely adored his nieces and nephews.
Don believed in God; the Father almighty, who created heaven and earth.  He possessed strong faith in Christ and did not waiver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith  -  always acknowledging his presence.
