Eunice Williams Obituary

"Saved, Set Apart and Fit for the Master's Use"

In the Fall of 1959, Eunice Mae Williams was born. What a precious moment it must have been on that October 22nd day in Severn, North Carolina, as she was born to the parentage of Thelma Williams and the late Charles L. Williams.
Eunice was educated in the Northampton County School System. She later attended Commonwealth College. Years later, she began employment at the Norfolk Division of Child Support, Compliance Specialist and worked for over 30 years.
Eunice currently attended Faithway Apostolic Church in Elizabeth City, NC, where she served as a Missionary on fire for the Lord. Her praise taught us all that there is a huge difference between fire in the house, and the whole house on fire! Everyone knew Missionary Williams as a lady whose only desire was to walk in the beauty of holiness, and what a beautiful life it was! The life she lived at home and church mirrored each other. Sickness and pain, sunshine or rain, the saints could always count on her to say her favorite line, "Hallelujah King Jesus!" Needless to say, she was a true woman of God. Her smile was infectious, and her hugs were always tight.
On Monday, February 5, 2018, Eunice transitioned peacefully from her earthly life into eternal rest at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Eunice had one daughter, Kristan aka 'Kristy', who was her heart. When you saw one, you saw the other. She would affectionately tell people, "Kristy will always be my baby, no matter how old she gets." The memories and laughs they shared together will be cherished.
In addition to her father, Eunice was also preceded in death by her sister, Christine Williams. She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Kristan Williams; her mother, Thelma Williams; four sisters, Sandra Griffin (Antonio), Barbara Williams, Melinda Mizzell (Ernest) and Shirley Blunt; three brothers, Charles Williams, Jr., Rodney Williams (Kimberly) and Melvin Williams; one special aunt, Julia Johnson; a "Sister/Cousin," as they affectionately called each other, Shirley Jordan; one Godson, Christian Hamilton; one Goddaughter, Shelby Sutton; two sweet babies, that she loved dearly, Janayah Bolding and Lily Sutton; a host of other relatives and friends.
