They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength,
They shall mount up on wings as eagles;
They shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.
- Isaiah 40: 31

         James Willie Shoulders,  began his journey through life on September 7, 1940 in Northampton County, North Carolina.  He was  born to the parentage of the late James Wilkins Shoulders and Mittie Ann Williams Shoulders.

"Sunset and evening star, and one clear call for me,
And may there be no moaning of the bar, When I put out to sea...

...For tho' from out our bourne of time and place,
The flood may bear me far, I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar."
