Marjorie D. (Durham) Boone

Marjorie Durham Boone, daughter  of the late Lindsey Durham and Mary Avent, began her walk with life on June 6, 1936, in Henrico County, Virginia. She was educated in the Northampton County Public School System. 

Marjorie was married to the late William Boone.  For many years, she was employed as a cafeteria worker for Northampton County Schools. 

On Thursday, May 18, 2017, Marjorie, peacefully slipped into eternal slumber, while at Wake Medical Center, Raleigh, North Carolina. 

​Memories of her life, love and legacy shall forever be cherished in the hearts and minds of:  her children, Gloria Plum, Melvin Boone (Debbie), William Boone (Dawn) and Stephanie Hicks (Henry); her siblings, Marshall (Jackie), Margaret (James), Garland (Maggie), Zelia (Norman) and Nora Jean; eighteen grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
