Ruth Eva Moses

       Ruth Eva Moses, daughter of the late  Luther and Pecolia Smith Moses, began her journey through life on April 1, 1945, in Northampton County, North Carolina. 
       Ruth was educated in the Northampton County School System. She later relocated to East Orange, New Jersey, where she was employed as a  Nurse's Assistant at Overbrook Hospital, Cedar Grove, New Jersey. She later returned to Margarettsville, North Carolina, where she cared for her ailing mother, until she succumbed.
       Ruth was an active member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Seaboard, North Carolina, for over 30 years. She later resided in Seaboard, North Carolina,  until she went on to glory on April 21, 2017, while at the Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, North Carolina
       Ruth loved and enjoyed cooking dinner for her family and friends. She also enjoyed going to church and worshiping the Lord.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was predeceased by: five brothers, Luke, James, Edward, Alexander  and Russell Moses and two sisters, Minnie  and Ruby Moses.
       Her loving heart lives through: her only child, Daryl Carter (Veronica) of Hanover, Maryland; one sister, Nannie Harris of  East Orange, New Jersey;  five brothers,  Herbert Moses (Gladys) of Richmond, Virginia,  Rev. Howard Moses (Ruth) of Colonial Heights, Virginia, Vernon Moses of New York, New York,  Waddell Moses of  Severna Park, Maryland and Fennell Moses (Lydia) of Winterville, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
