Sandra Faye Garner

        Sandra Faye Garner, daughter of the late James Roger Garner and Naomi Phillips Garner, was born August 9, 1954 in Northampton County, North Carolina.
       Faye, as she was well-known and faithfully called by all family members and friends, was educated in the Northampton County Public School System.  She loved to plant things, watch mystery television shows and talk on the phone with friends and love ones. Faye was always happy. She also loved her family and appreciated knowing people loved her back.  She never met a stranger, but new friend, and definitely loved acknowledging and supporting her family.
       On Friday, March 16, 2018, Faye quietly slipped into eternal slumber, while in the comfort of her home.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by:  her son, Jermaine Roger Garner; two sisters, Valerie and Catherine Garner and two brothers, Joe Wilson Garner and Alfred Garner.
       Faye leaves to cherish many wonderful memories and much love:   her daughter, Gloria Faye Garner of the home; three grandchildren, Jermya  and Daren Garner both of Mapleton, North Carolina  and Ta'Kyiah Scott of Garysburg, North Carolina;  four brothers, James Garner of Staten Island, New York, Dement Garner of Cary, North Carolina, Willie Garner (Josephine) of Seaboard, North Carolina and Roy Garner of the home; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
