Antonio L. Howard, born on February 8th, 1984, in Ahoskie, North Carolina, was the beloved son of Timothy Peoples and the late Joyce Ann Howard. He was raised in Hertford County, where he received his education in the local schools. Antonio was known for his kind heart, his love of travel, and his deep affection for his family. He had a remarkable ability to make others laugh and cherished every moment spent with loved ones.
Antonio was last employed at Roses Store and had many friends and coworkers who will remember him fondly. On March 20th, 2025, Antonio was called to be with the Lord, leaving behind a legacy of joy, laughter, and love.
Antonio was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Ann Howard, and his brother, Thomas Orayus Peoples.
He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Timothy Peoples (Sarah) of Seaboard, North Carolina; his siblings, retired MSgt, Brandy Y. Epps of San Antonio, Texas; Timothy Peoples, Jr. (Eugenia) of Woodbridge, Virginia; Kelvin Peoples of Greensboro, North Carolina; Lakesia Ramsey (David) of Richmond, Virginia; Nicole Tripp (Jermaine) of Houston, Texas; and Glenn Blount of Severn, North Carolina.
Antonio is also survived by his grandmothers, Annie Ruth Peoples of Coral Springs, Florida, and Willie Mae Tann (Rickey) of Murfreesboro, North Carolina; his aunts, Yolanda Hall (Bertie) of Coral Springs, Florida; Amanda Lassiter (Clarence) of Woodland, North Carolina; Sylvia Howard of Rich Square, North Carolina; and Sharon Howard of Como, North Carolina; his uncles, Victory Howard of Kelford, North Carolina; Steven Howard of Norfolk, Virginia; Kurt Long of Durham, North Carolina; Leon Peoples, Jr. of Connecticut; Anthony Peoples of Suffolk, Virginia; and Tracey Woodley (Shay) of Murfreesboro, North Carolina.
Antonio is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Special mention is made of his close friend, Ta’Kiala (Keke) Flythe, and his goddaughter, Ki’Meriyah Flythe, who held a special place in his heart.
Antonio’s passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew him. His laughter, kindness, and love for life will be remembered forever. May he rest in peace.
