Arbadallar 'Della' Kwot Obituary

Arbadallar Webb Kwot, the beloved daughter of the late Camia Lee High Webb and Paul Webb, was born on December 26th, 1957, in Northampton County, NC.

“Della”, as she was affectionally called, received her education from Northampton County Public Schools, and graduated from Weldon High School class of 1976, making her the first high school graduate from her family.

At an early age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior, was baptized, and became a member of Cool Spring Missionary Baptist Church in Gaston, NC under the leadership of the late Rev. F.L. Bullock. On October 6th, 1989, Della married the love of her life, David A. Kwot, Sr. From this union bore two children. During their 35 years of marriage, they truly exemplified their vows of “for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part."

In 1992, Della relocated to South Carolina to join her husband where they spent the last 32 years residing and forming many lifelong relationships with those she loved and adored. Della was employed with Kennametal Inc. and later Caterpillar Inc. until her retirement after over 30 years of faithful service.

Della cherished every moment spent with her family, who meant everything and more to her. A firm believer in "FAMILY FIRST," she made it her life’s mission to nurture, support, and uplift her loved ones. Furthermore, she was the pillar in orchestrating the inaugural Webb Family Gathering and was able to attend the most recent one in September of 2024!

Everyone who know Della, knew she was a woman of unwavering faith who loved the Lord with all her heart. Her faith was not just something she spoke about – it was the foundation of who she was. Even amid her health battles, Della remained steadfast, drawing strength from the Word of the Lord and finding peace in His presence. She never wavered, always encouraging those around her by quoting Proverbs 3:5-6, and was a living testimony of God’s grace and mercy.

On Thursday, February 27th, 2025, Della peacefully answered the Lord’s call and entered His heavenly kingdom. With grace and serenity, she transitioned from this life into the arms of her Savior, whom she faithfully served.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings: Wilma, Cecil, Ernestine, Marie, Janet, and George.

Della was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who cared for all. Treasured memories of her life will remain in the hearts of her loving husband, David Kwot, Sr. of the home; her children, Larry Brown, Jr. (Brittany “Philly”) of Elgin, SC, Aboe “Nikki” Banks (Terrell) of Columbia, SC, Camia Brown of Greenville, SC, and David Kwot, Jr. of the home; 18 grandchildren, Brittany, Isiah, Adaijha, Tywan, Caleb, Tre’, Jacob, Chloe, Sir’Kwon, Yasmine, Jeremiah, Jayden, Jamiyah, Elijah, Matthew, Tristen, David III, and Da'Travious; 9 great-grandchildren, Kaydon, Skylar, Raelyn, Joshua (LJ), Amarjai, Journee, Grayson, Ariana, and Saint; one brother; Luther Jones of Camp Springs, MD; a special nephew, Ja’Muan Webb of Arlington, VA; two special nieces, Gladys Scott of Roanoke Rapids, NC, and Rosa Garner of Gaston, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
