Carlton Jacobs, Sr. Obituary

Remembering ‘Carl’...

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” ~Revelation 1:4

Carlton Arnez Jacods, Sr., son of the late Eddie Lewis Jacobs and Lola Greene Jacobs, began his journey through life on Thursday, November 25, 1965 in Northampton County, North Carolina.

‘Carl’, as he was fondly called by his family and friends, was educated in the Northampton County School System. For quite a period of time, he was employed with Jackson Brick Masonry, until his health declined. ‘Carl’ was friendly and had a big heart. Most importantly, he loved God and his family dearly. His favorite pastimes were watching WWF Wrestling and Westerns.

“After the clouds, the sunshine; after the winter, the spring; After the shower, the rainbow; for life is a changeable thing. After the night, the morning, bidding all darkness cease, After life’s cares and sorrows, the comfort and sweetness of peace.” On Wednesday, May 4, 2022, ‘Carl’ transitioned from this earthly life, unto life eternal. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Evon Jacobs.
