Dale 'Dalemore' Kittrell Obituary

Dale Elmore Kittrell, age 60, of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, departed this earthly life on Friday, July 16, 2021; while in the comfort of his home.

Dale was born on September 29, 1960 in Washington, DC He was the youngest son born to the parentage of the late Elmore Theodore 'ET' Kittrell, Jr. (formerly of Henderson, North Carolina) and Ida Elizabeth Smiley Kittrell (formerly of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina).

'Dalemore', as he was affectionately called, was a self employed roofer and carpenter.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Wayne Kittrell and his fiancée Lynn Kidd.

'Dalemore' will deeply be missed! Cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of: his sister, Patsy Kittrell Rodriquez of Henderson, North Carolina; two brothers, Robert 'Bobby' Kittrell, Sr. of Statesville, North Carolina and James 'JD' Kittrell of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; five children-at-heart, Katherine, Leisha, Ronnie, Sally and Chelsea; a special niece, Heidi Newell (Travis); a special nephew, Jamie Kittrell all of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina; special great-nieces and nephews, Skye, Londyn, Hubba and Bryan.

The family of the late “Dalemore” would like to express their sincere appreciation and thanks to Catherine 'Coondog' Moore, for the love and care that she showed towards our dear loved one during his illness. Also, a special thanks to four special friends, Aaron, Ethan, Shirley and Earl.
