Mr. Derrick B. 'Tweety' Thomas, age 41, of Weldon, North Carolina, departed this earthly life on Monday, March 28, 2022; at Vidant North Hospital, Roanoke Rapids North Carolina.

Derrick was born on Friday, October 31, 1980 in Marion, Alabama to the parentage of the late Harrison Thomas, Sr. and Esther Michelle 'Punkin' Murphy Thomas.
