Geraldine (Branch) Barnes

     Mrs. Geraldine Branch Barnes, age 85, of Boykins, Virginia  transitioned from this earthly life Monday, October 3, 2022; while in the serenity of her home.

     Geraldine was born on Friday, August 6, 1937 in Northampton County, North Carolina to the parentage of the late Eddie Mark Branch and Bessie Malone Branch.  

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Floyd Barnes and her eldest son, Angelo Barnes.

     Cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of:  her children, Toni Barnes, Terry Barnes and Vickie Barnes; a sister, Gloria Celestine;  two brothers, Edward Branch and Gregory Branch; four grandchildren, Angelo Barnes II, Stephen Hoggard, Ahmaad Bynum and Alisha Murphy;  eight great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law;  a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Relatives and Friends are encouraged to visit Mrs. Barnes' tribute wall to share memories, extend condolences and to order floral tributes, as sentiments to the family.
