Jackquelyn Woodard Obituary

"What we once enjoyed and deeply loved, we can never lose,
for all that we love deeply, becomes a part of us."

Jackquelyn M. Woodard, daughter of the late Carolyn D. Woodard and granddaughter of the late Charlie and Ethel Woodard, began her journey through life Tuesday, October 24, 1972, in Brooklyn, New York.
Jackquelyn was educated in the Southampton County Public School System of Virginia. She soon grew and blossomed into a sweet and compassionate young lady. She believed in God; the Father Almighty, who created heaven and earth. Although her health presented many challenges through the years, Jackquelyn possessed a strong faith in Christ and did not waiver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, always acknowledging his presence. Having God as an integral part of her upbringing, Jackquelyn accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior early in life.
As life progressed, she returned to New York, where she completed her education. For quite some time, Jackquelyn was employed with Interpublic Group Company; an award-winning, global provider of marketing solutions.
"After the clouds, the sunshine; after the winter, the spring; After the shower, the rainbow; for life is a changeable thing. After the night, the morning, bidding all darkness cease, After life's cares and sorrows, the comfort and sweetness of peace." On Christmas Day of 2020; while in the serenity of her home, Jackquelyn quietly transitioned from this earthly life, into sweet eternal rest.
Your life was full of loving deeds, forever thoughtful of our special needs. Today and tomorrow, our whole life through, we will always love and cherish you. Her sweet spirit, caring heart and generosity will long be remembered by all those whose lives she touched:  her 1st cousin, Darrell Cooper of Sandersville, Georgia, a host of other relatives, friends, and her Interpublic Group Company co-workers.
