Jeremy Williams Obituary

“Remembering you is easy, we do it everyday.

Missing you is a heartache, which will never go away.”

Jeremy Lamar Williams, son of Annie Cotton Williams and the late Malachi ‘Cow’ Williams, Jr. began his journey through life on October 5, 1993 in Halifax County, North Carolina.

Jeremy was educated in the Northampton County Public School System, graduating from Northampton County High School - West, Class of 2012. He was gainfully employed with Carolina Bark of Seaboard, North Carolina for the past six years.

Jeremy found love when he met the love of his life, Amari Williams. They were blessed with four beautiful children - one of which preceded him in death, Jahlani Williams.

‘Flare’, ‘Status J’ or ‘Big Country’, as he was so affectionately called by his loving family and friends, was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, companion and friend. He was loved and respected by many and will be missed by all whose lives he touched.

You never said I’m leaving, you never said goodbye. You were gone before we knew it and only God knows why. In life we loved you dearly. In death we love you still. It broke our heart to lose you, But you didn’t go alone, As part of us went with you, The day God took you home. On Friday, November 11, 2022, while in the care of ECU Health Medical Center - Greenville, North Carolina, Jeremy answered the Master’s call to eternal rest.

Though the clouds may hang over, there will be a brighter day, in that land that they call heaven, God shall wipe all tears away. Cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of: two handsome sons, Jessiah and Jh’Mari Williams; one beautiful daughter, Jhournii Williams; his loving mother, Annie Williams; his caring sister, Shantavia Williams; one niece, Rakayla Williams; one nephew, Demajay Williams; his aunts and uncles, Ernestine Gorham (Ralph), Barbara Carroll (Carl), Melinda Vincent (Larry), Nannie Branch (Ronnie), Queen Debrow and Michael Williams; his brother-at-heart, Carliek Edmonds, with whom he rode motorcycles; a host of other relatives and friends.
