Keith Lamar Morris

Keith Lamar Morris was born on Saturday, April 8th, 1989, in Halifax County, North Carolina, to the late Roy Morris Sr. and Elaine Edwards Morris. He departed this life on Monday, July 22nd, 2024, at his residence in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.

Keith attended the Northampton County Public School System. He was best known for his infectious laughter, joking nature, and love for playing his farming video game. Everyone affectionately called him by his full name, Keith Morris. His loving, caring personality and distinctive giggle endeared him to all who knew him. A devoted fan of the Washington Commanders (Redskins), Keith was rarely seen without his cherished Redskins hat. He truly had an old soul.

In addition to his loving parents, Keith was preceded in death by his brothers, Reginald and Darryl Morris, his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Keith leaves to cherish his memory: his brothers, Roy Morris Jr. (Malade) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Gregory Morris (Trina) of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina; his nephews, Isaiah and Romel, and niece, Laila Morris, all of Virginia Beach, Virginia; nephew, Gregory Jr. and niece, Emoni of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina; nieces, Hope and Faith Knapper of Newport News, Virginia. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Sallie Rogers (Coley) of Margarettsville, North Carolina, Linda Morris, Evelyn Blunt, Monica Morris, Alice Bolden (Beau) all of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Raymond Morris of Norfolk, Virginia, Wilbert Morris (Ethel) of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, Anthony Morris (Sematar) of Upper Marlboro, Maryland and Glenda Morris of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Keith's final wishes are cherished by all who loved him.
