Mr. Melton B. Brown Jr. was the sunshine of any place he stepped foot into and brought joy and smiles to all. He loved to help anyone in need, especially his community, family and friends. He always moved in love, never forgetting to be grateful, thankful and prayed up. Mr. Melton B. Brown, Sr. was born in Jackson, NC on July 24, 1950 to the late Mr. Melton B. Brown, Jr. and Ms. Clara Wilson. He transcended on January 22, 2022 .
Mr. Melton B. Brown, Jr. was a top achiever throughout school. Towards the end of his high school days he was drafted into the military (Army). He served his country and unfortunately returned as a wounded warrior never being himself ever again, but he made the best of it. He hid a lot of his issues and pain and catered to others showing unconditional love for the remainder of his life. He resided in Pennsylvania and became a truck driver for Yellow Freight and then relocated to Norfolk, VA and became the Site Supervisor at Sandler Foods. There he was able to create a beautiful home for his wife and children. Unfortunately, after trying to attain a normal life his war injuries just would not allow him to and he was forced to retire. As a Vietnam Veteran and wounded warrior, he still found the cheer in life and focused on showing others the way to God and being a humanitarian until his final days.
