Pauline Jacobs, daughter of the late Willie and Alma Jacobs, began her journey through life on Tuesday, April 9, 1929, in Northampton County, North Carolina. She was educated in the Northampton County School System.
Pauline lived a long and wonderful life. She loved life itself and enjoyed seeing those around her happy. She took great pleasure in growing beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. If she were here today, she would say, "Go get me a box of snuff and some silver tips!" She would also say, "Don't cry for me, for I gave life all I can give and it is now time for me to rest."
On Tuesday, December 17, 2020, Pauline Jacobs, peacefully transitioned from this earthly tabernacle to a building not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her sons, Ruby Lee Jacobs and Robert Jacobs; her sisters, Ramolie Jacobs, Lena Jacobs-Whitaker, Evelyn Jacobs-Whitaker and Bertha Jacobs and her brothers, James Jacobs and Clinton Jacobs.
A life well lived. A life well loved. The life and legacy of Pauline Jacobs will forever remain in the hearts and minds of: her son, Ernest Jacobs (Gwendolyn) of Greenwood, Indiana; four grandchildren; her brother, Bobby Allen Jacobs of Paterson, New Jersey; a host of relatives and friends.
