Randolph Williams, age 60, of Conway, North Carolina, was born on Friday, November 15, 1963, to Earlene Williams and JB Vaughn. He peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 23, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.
Randy, as he was affectionately called by his loving family and friends, attended Willis Hare Elementary School, Conway Middle School, and graduated from Northampton County High School. Following high school, he joined the Job Corps and later attended Truck Driving School. He began his truck driving career in 1999 with McElroy, moved to AT Byrum in 2005, and by 2017, he proudly owned and operated his own truck.
On April 28, 2012, Randy married the love of his life, Shonda Williams. He was a devoted father to three children: Sharanda Shearin, Sharika Quidachay (Jonathan), and Tiesha Williams. Through his union with Shonda, he was blessed with three additional children: Micheal Taylor, Micayla Thompson, and Kaleigh Thompson.
Randy’s passions included fishing, shooting pool, cooking BBQ, taking trips to the beach, and spending quality time with his children and precious grandchildren: Cionnie, Isaiah, Rajauana, Shayla, Melik, Janiyah, Jaythan, Navanah, and his adorable great-granddaughter, Nehlani.
In addition to his loving parents, Randy was preceded in death by his brothers, Stanley and Donald Ray; and sisters, Joann Williams and Emily Britt. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his wife, children, grandchildren, and his siblings: Edward Vaughan, Robert Vaughan, Gloria Cloyd, Irene Merchant, Gladys Tann, Rose Stephenson, Priscilla Spellman (Calvin), Linda Murphy, and Larry Williams. Randy will also be fondly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
His presence will be deeply missed. May Randy rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
