Ronnie 'Bud' Coleman, Jr. Obituary

“Sad is the parting, no one can tell: So sudden on earth the

sorrow fell, The blow was hard, the shock severe; To part with

one we love so dear. Dearer still, as days depart; Our loved

one’s memory will forever live within our hearts!”

Ronnie ‘Bud’ Coleman Jr., the beloved youngest son of Ronnie Coleman Sr. and Felecia Grant, was born on August 30th, 1984, in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. He spent his early years in Northampton County, where he attended public schools before completing his education in Orange, New Jersey. Bud graduated from Orange High School in 2002.

Bud’s untimely departure has left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His magnetic personality and infectious spirit drew people to him effortlessly. Always quick with a genuine remark or a comical observation, Bud could light up any room. From an early age, he developed a deep love for motorcycles, a passion he embraced throughout his life. He became an honorary member of the F.R. Family of New Jersey, where he was affectionately known as “Ez Pass.” Bud’s style was as unique as his character, often seen in his signature overalls and white tees.

Above all, Bud will be remembered for his kind and loving heart. His warmth and generosity touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Moronica Boone and his dear friend and brother-at-heart, Tamir “Boom” Lee.

Bud leaves behind cherished memories with his father, Ronnie Coleman Sr. (Roxie) of North Carolina; his mother, Felecia Grant (Thomas Thorton) of South Carolina; and his siblings: Gregory Boone (Cynthia) of Virginia, Jamele Coleman (Lukieva) of Tennessee, Jermaine Coleman of Pennsylvania, and Tameka Simmons (Kelvin) of North Carolina.

He also leaves behind his brothers-at-heart, DeAnte Dupree (Krystal) of Pennsylvania and Jermaine Boyd of North Carolina, along with a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Bud’s memory will forever be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, humor, and individuality will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
