“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there
shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither
shall there be any more pain: for the former things are
passed away.” ~ Revelation 21:4
Sheritha Danielle Arrington Flood, lovingly known as a devoted wife, mother, daughter, aunt, and mother-at-heart, peacefully entered eternal rest at her home on Monday, May 4th, 2026. Born on Monday, August 19th, 1979, in Hertford County, she was the cherished daughter of Willie Lassiter and Margie Ann Arrington Lucas. Her passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, for she was truly a precious soul whose loving presence and gentle spirit will never be forgotten.
At an early age, Sheritha confessed Christ and became a faithful member of Gaston Missionary Baptist Church. She found great joy in serving the Lord and was actively involved in the church choir. Sheritha loved cooking, attending Bible study, shopping, and spending meaningful time with her family and loved ones. Her warm smile, caring nature, and servant’s heart touched countless lives and brought comfort and joy to everyone around her.
Sheritha received her education from Northampton East High School in Conway. She later attended Halifax Community College, where she pursued training as a Medical Assistant, and furthered her education at Miller-Motte College, where she obtained her degree. In the year 2000, Sheritha met her soulmate, Tony M. Flood, Jr., and together they shared 26 years of faithful marriage filled with love, devotion, and cherished memories.
She leaves to treasure her precious memories her loving husband, Tony Flood, Jr.; her beloved daughter, Amber Jania Flood; her son-at-heart, TraQuan Flood; her father, Willie Lassiter; her mother, Margie Ann Arrington Lucas (Frankie); her grandfather, Dennis Arrington; her father-in-law, Reverend Doctor Tony Flood, Sr. (Betty); her sister-in-law, Lakisha Flood Scott (Larry); her brother-in-law, Joseph Flood (Crystal); along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and all who were blessed to know and love her.
