Stewart Anderson Obituary

Stewart’s Life Sketch…

Your life was a blessing

Your memory a treasure

You’re loved beyond words

And missed beyond measure...

Life was bestowed upon a loving father, grandfather, brother, cousin and friend on May 28, 1962. Stewart Anderson was born to the loving care of the late Edward L. & Lara Elizabeth Anderson in Seaboard, North Carolina.

As life progressed, Stewart began to embrace life and enjoy it to the fullest, he took much pleasure in the natural environment as he loved to hunt and fish. You could also find him cooking food, for his family and friends - everyone loved his turkey barbeque.

God saw you getting weaker and whispered come and rest, His garden must be beautiful for He only picks the best. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. On July 30, 2020, while in the care of Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina, Stewart answered God’s solemn call to sweet eternal rest. He is now reunited with those who preceded him in death.

A million times we've needed you, a million times we've cried.  If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.  In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place, that no one could ever fill. Those left to cherish his memories are his: wife, Sylvia Anderson of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina; sons, Alonzo Anderson of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina and Stewart Anderson (Crystal) of Jackson, North Carolina; grandson, Anthony Anderson of Wilmington, North Carolina; siblings, Norma Jean Anderson of Seaboard, North Carolina and Edward Lee Anderson of Washington, District of Colombia; nephew, Antonio Storey of Weldon, North Carolina; aunt, Bernice Anderson of New York; uncle, Earl Anderson (Bertha) of Weldon, North Carolina; special friend, Connie Williams of Murfreesboro, North Carolina; a host of other relatives and friends.
