Victor Ray Peele, son of Charles Perry and Rosa Peele began his journey through life on Friday, June 25, 1965 in Rich Square, (Northampton County) North Carolina.
Victor was educated in public schools of Northampton County, graduating from Northampton County High School - East, Class of 1983. Early in life, he professed his faith in Christ and united in Christian Fellowship with First Baptist Church of Rich Square, where he served as an Usher for many years and attended the summer programs.
‘Vick’, as he was affectionately called by his family and friends, had a generous spirit, big heart and a pleasant personality. He loved people and met no stranger! He would talk to anyone. ‘Vick’ loved his family and friends unconditionally and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Life is but a stopping place, A pause in what’s to be, A resting place along the road, to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, Different paths along the way, We all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay… Our destination is a place, Far greater than we know. For some the journey is quicker, For some the journey’s slow. And when the journey finally ends, We’ll claim a great reward, And find an everlasting peace, Together with the Lord. On Tuesday, February 7, 2023, Victor Ray Peele departed this earthly life in New York. He was preceded in death by: his loving grandmother, Rosa Peele, whom he called ‘Mama’; grandfather, Wilson Peele; one aunt, Eva Peele and two uncles, Sullivan Peele and Joseph Perry.
Our family is a circle of strength and love; with every birth and every union, the circle of love grows - every trial faced together makes the circle grow stronger. We who remain struck by the bitter pain of death, but are assured by the promise of God; that He would wipe all tears from our eyes are: his father, Charles Perry; his mother, Rosa Peele; his sister, Keisha Evans; two aunts, Lucy and Mary; two special first cousins, Brenda Peele Phillips and Willie Ruffin, Jr. with whom he was reared, loved unconditionally and were his siblings-at-heart; special cousins, Evangeline ‘Van’ Hemsley and Gloria Jean Anderson; cousins and close friend, Tony Anderson; a host of other relatives and friends.
