Wardell Donald Williams, son of the late Henry and Blanche Washington, was born on Thursday, November 30, 1944 in Williamsburg, Virginia.
For over 40 years, Wardell worked as a truck driver - 15 of those years he was employed with Stanz Trucking Company of Brooklyn, New York.
Wardell peacefully departed this earthly life on Saturday, December 4, 2021; while in the care of Rich Square Manor of Rich Square, North Carolina.
Cherished memories remain in the hearts of: two sons, Corey Williams and Russell Douglas; grandson, Elijah 'Eli' Douglas; his siblings, Barry Washington, Kenneth 'Kenny' Williams, Kathy Reynolds, Reneta Washington, Patricia Fish and Doris Hickman; an uncle, Albert Meekins; close cousins, Sheila and Mala Meekins, Mable Wynne, Deidre and Lonnie Moore and Eunice Taylor; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Relatives and Friends are encouraged to visit Mr. Williams' tribute wall to share memories, extend condolences and to order floral tributes, as sentiments to the family.
