Grandma, May Allah (God) be pleased with your steps in life, your service in love and your choices in faith. You were a beautiful spirit to all you came in contact with. From the MANY you kissed, hugged, feed, clothed and sheltered. THANK YOU for providing a loving home to ALL of us who were blessed to cross your doorstep. THANK YOU for being a mother, when there may not have been a mother present. THANK YOU for being a protector, when there may not have been a protector. THANK YOU for being a server, when a server was needed. THANK YOU for opening your heart and arms to those who found comfort in their special relationship (whether born from you or nurtured by you) they had with you. May those who were BLESSED to form a special relationship find comfort in the BLESSING of YOU! To my mother Gloria (PLUMB), my Uncles Melvin and William (Wick, Whick...all the spellings :o)), Aunt Jeannie and Aunt Mary, may you all find comfort in knowing Marjorie or as granddaddy would call her "MaarRiee" has served her time here as a soldier and she has earned the BEST reward there is to receive...Paradise! To Henry and Stephanie, THANK YOU for being family to my Grandma. May you and your family find comfort in knowing you all were a blessing to her, just as I'm SURE, she was a blessing to you. And to those aunties, uncles and cousins I may have missed, THANK YOU also for being a special part of my grandmother's life also.
Grandma now it's your turn. You have done ALL that you came to do.... REST, you deserve it... FLY, you've earned it... Be at peace!

You always went out of your way to help everyone you cooked your heart out and feed so many. Your door was always opened with a smile and a heart full of love.
