Ms Barnes led such an impressive life. It was really a celebration of life when she went to be with her, Lord and Savior--Jesus Christ. My prayers go out to her family.

I remember Mrs. Barnes from the third grade in Boykins Primary School. She always had a kind word and a smile for everyone every time she saw you. I would see her over the years after I graduated from high school and she always had time to talk and laugh and ask how my parents were doing.
This world will be a much sadder place without Mrs. Barnes in it, but heaven will be much happier now that she is there. You will be greatly missed.

I will always remember Mrs. Barnes and that beautiful smile. She taught me many years ago and I still to this day appreciative of her teaching. She cared about us as children and her caring really helped a lot of us become the strong people we are today. Thanks to Mrs. Barnes.
I send condolences and heartfelt prayer to your family🙏🏾

My sincerest condolence to the family. Mrs. Barnes was my 3rd and 4th grade teacher. Beautiful. Poised. Graceful. An Angel in disguise (sent just for me when I was most in need). She was the best and the most caring teacher in the school. She use to record us during reading class and tell us that she was going to replay it once we got grown....I absolutely loved that lady! I remember once I fell off the monkey bars (picture day)...she fixed my hair (considering the fact) the best she could...lol...so many fond memories. This picture is hanging in my home office. May God rest her soul. Love you and will remember you always.

Mrs. Barnes was a very saintly sweet lady. She possessed poise, grace, and elegance. She was indeed a lady of exquisite beauty; on both the inside and outside. Mrs. Barnes was grounded, strong and very spiritual. She will be sorely missed, but we know her soul now rest in the gentle arms of our Lord and Savior. Her sweet spirit and kind words will forever be cherished in our hearts!
